Does new horizon have a respite care program?
Yes. You or your loved one may want to take advantage of this option for several reasons:
- A family member or care giver may be going away or on vacation and your loved one needs a temporary place to live while the care giver is away.
- He or she is being discharged from a hospital or rehabilitation, but may still need extra help before going home.
- He or she may be thinking of moving to our assisted living residence, but wants to live with us for awhile before reaching a final decision.
Are assisted living benefits available to veterans, spouses and their widows at new horizon?
Yes. The Veterans Administration offers an aid and attendance benefit for qualified Veterans and surviving spouses that need assistance with their activities of daily living.
Does New Horizon accept Medicaid Waiver Residents?
Yes. New Horizon has an Extended Congregate Care license and is Medicaid Waiver approved.
Does New Horizon accept Diversion Program Residents?
Yes. New Horizon has contracts with Diversion Program Providers Citrus Tango, Evercare, Neighborly and Eldercare.
